Rolls-Royce Phantom II

The photos you see Rolls-Royce Phantom II, which became the successor to the New Phantom from 1929.

RR Phantom II, like its predecessor the New Phantom uses inline "six" in volume of 7.7 liters. This engine was the last of a series of large engines fitted to Rolls-Royce.

The power unit is paired with a 4-eh-speed manual transmission. Synchronizer were added to the third and fourth transfer in the 1932nd, and the second transfer in 1935 th.

Semi-elliptic leaf springs have been installed as the front and, unlike its predecessor, the rear suspension. On all 4 wheels fitted ex brake servo drive.

Total car left the factory in 1281, including 125 vehicles with left-hand drive.

Phantom II has been radically redesigned, and the most interesting thing that sold it without increasing the price. Besides the engine Phantom II has nothing in common with its predecessor, New Phantom, or Phantom I, as it is also called.

The same engine with frightening volume of 7.7 liters gave a paltry 40 horsepower, which by our standards is simply terrifying efficiency.
